Redemption Song Monument

Redemption Song Monument

The 11-feet high bronze couple represents the strength and dignity of the African person in the face of historic injustices. Located in Emancipation Park, Kingston, JAMAICA, the artist Laura Facey named the work after the famous song written and performed by the late Robert “Bob” Nesta Marley. The duo was unveiled in 2003.
